You guys on this site are great! Good insights, honest opinions based on your own experience, supportive encouragement. I'm ready to tell my boss I'm gonna take time off in October also--I'm pretty stoked about the trip I'll have in September. And with the double portage thing, I might even bring a better sleeping pad for these creaky bones.
