Is right about the sugar, but if you have too, then Brown is waay better than White. I like to mix in a 1/2 cup trail mix in my morning oatmeal. The nuts are an excellent protein source and the dried fruit is full of carbs and the natural sugar they contain will satisfy your sweet tooth and give you a longer " burn" time, avoiding the blood sugar spike and fall of processed sugars. You could also add a little Honey instead of sugar. Just don't let Yogi and Boo -Boo smell it ;) |
