Not a fan of bass. I do chuckle at the grocery store, there's a tank full of live ones in the 2-4# range. Not a fan of lake trout either. They're both fine for breading/frying serving with a sauce.
Walleye, brookies, perch, crappie, sunfish - all good eatin'. Definitely the colder the water the better the fish. I've had mid-summer walleye caught on the edge of shallows/weed lines that tasted like mud. |
