Title: Campsites between Wet and Kawnipi Post by GeoFisher on May 27th, 2011 at 1:21am
Hey,
It's been a LONG time since I've been here....... Does anyone know about Site 34A or Site 34C on the PCD. I've looked quite a bit at those two, and I really wish I would have taken a look the last time I was up there. They are stated as legacy Maps sites, which I think means there is a good chance they are not useable. We may or may not need a site on my Trip and I'm looking for "risk mitigation" sites......Just in case we push too hard and simply cannot make it to Kawnipi in 1 day from Hook Island...... Any help would be greatly appreciated........... Later, Geo |

Geofisher,
I was just in that area last week, on Saganagons. There are numerous campsites just south of Dead Man's Portage, just before the Falls Chain. You should have no problem finding a site if you decide to call it a day in that area. As far as I know, there aren't many sites in the Falls Chain. There is one on the island in Kenny Lake, but I beleive that's the only one on Kenny. Hope that helps... Mark |

Sorry this is very late, but I'm pretty sure you will not find a site at 34C. I don't recall at 34A.
