I have nothing to add on the fishing info, but if I may be so bold too say, I think in your sons eyes just being with his Dad and Uncle is what will make any outing memorable, good fishing or not ;)

I can only imagine the pride you feel for you son, especially his serving his country in these perilous times as a Marine. I'm sure he feels the same way about being One of the Few, the Proud the Marines 8-)
