I'm lying on my couch, post-surgery, in drug-induced tranquility.

Mostly I feel a great sense of relief!  The surgery went off as planned: no complications or unpleasant surprises.  Now the healing/PT begins.

Thanks to everyone for your kind well-wishes.  MUCH appreciated.  

I look forward to keeping in touch with this virtual community, and to getting back to god's country next June.
