Quanah Parker and the rise and fall of the Comanches, the most powerful indian tribe in American history.

This is a fabulous read. One of those books you just can't put down. It only re-enforces my belief that "life is to short to read fiction".

This was an excellent recommendation for those of us who enjoy good historical writing. Life & times of the horse tribes is remarkably pulled together in this enlightening account.
