Ben, I could have paddled but I thought you were using the creek in a few weeks so I waded and cleared everything for you. It was during  the heat wave and felt good. In 2009's high water four of us in solo canoes went upstream from North Prairie.  Others have commented on the current in this stream so it should be considered when planning direction of travel.

Thanks! Now I have to go back since you cleared it up for me... I wouldn't have been able to enter anyways as the entries I would need to use were closed. I don't know how you did it in high water going up stream (in 2009)... It was WORK going down stream in a tandem. Looking forward to 2012!
