ugh. you really know how to tease a man. it was 45 degrees here the last two days, its january in wisconsin. seeing that picture only makes me want to go fishing more! then this morning i looked outside and we had 2 inches of snow and more on the way. the warm days ruined all the good ice we did have and the snow just made for some really nasty ice. probably prolonged any safe icefishing for 2 more weeks!

the larger trout must have just recently been caught before that picture? we can never get them to keep any decent color for more than a few minutes. they are pitch black when we catch them and bone white by the time we get back to camp.
