I was there as a teen (50 now). Was a great place and time. I recall: Clear beautiful lakes, nice smallmouth (catch and release i think?), old forest, loons, surprisingly not many people at all, although summer, few bugs. It rained 15 hrs solid at one point during which time bro and i consumed 3# of trail mix while sitting in my leaky 10.00 garage sale tent (in spite of this if offered the same trip and conditions i'd go again in a heartbeat)...
