Nice setup! 

I gotta ask, though.  What is the purpose of the rod storage mounts on the thwart?  I see how you have the rods resting in there for the picture, but wouldn't those rods be in the way of your legs as you paddle, if that's its purpose?  And if it's for portaging I am not grasping how the storage rack could be of any use mounted in that position.
