I have finished the new battery holder. The 2 brass nuts and some solder have been added and there was a little more bungee cord in the last picture than I needed. Battery holder and mounting clips now weighs 5.0 OZ. This type of holder has less contacts in it than most of the holders that you buy in the store.  This holder has one contact per battery + 1 where most holders have 2 contacts for each battery.  Contacts are a source of power loss and intermittent connections.
