Looking for any information about the Long Island Lake area in BWCAW. Need to find a place for myself and my very novice wife for a 4 day trip in mid June. Is this area full of crowds? Looks easy to get to. How many campsites, fishing etc? I also have a permit reserved for Beaverhouse entry at that time coming to Cirrus. A lot more driving and expense. Does everyone think it's worth it or should I try the Lon Island option? Any help is greatly appreciated.
