Our group lost a paddler, so we are down one. -- Overview:  We will be meeting my friend Joe (flying into I-Falls from Atlanta, Ga, the nite of 31May. Early departure from I-Falls on 1June. Permits  (backcountry/fishing) will be secured in advance on-line.  Jumping off point, Ear Falls NWO.    Taking out on Saturday 9June, and traveling back to I-Falls. Profuse re-civilization the nite of 9June in I-Falls. Joe's flight departs I-Falls airport, 10June, 7am.   Return to Madison, WI 10June.   11June, back in the saddle.    :(

I almost wish I could make your trip.  On May 21 my son and I will be entering the BW at Moose Lake, exiting 10 or so days later at Lake One.  His 2nd trip, my 8th.  Leaving from Stoughton (close enough to Madison), Wis.

Maybe some day I'll have the gumption to do a Canadian trip.
