You know, PB, I looked for a frying pan for years.  It's hard to find a camp fry pan bigger than 10", at least around here.  But in any case, in the end I figured for the few extra ounces I'd rather have a pan with some thickness on the bottom, it just distributes the heat better and I like my fish just perfect!  This handleless pan has worked well for me and when I pack it, it also helps to keep my pack squared up.
