I spent a couple of nights at a camp site on LLC near Bottle portage last week. There had been a fire at this site sometime in the not too distant past. Nearly every tree was burned at the base and part way up one side. Some had burned completely through and fallen. I thought the burn pattern on this one was interesting:

That tree would concern me a lot if near the campsite proper. Looks like the fireplace is just out of the right edge of the frame?
