Latest development ... I got a conversion kit today so I can convert the 150T (tandem) to a 150 (solo).  The conversion kit makes the hull narrower and slightly deeper.  So I now have "two" boats.

More pictures to follow.

Now that I have all the parts, I can take some measurements and proceed with the pursuit of a suitable portage yoke.

Oh.  This time I DID go to the source.  I talked with Alv at Pakboat/Scansport of Enfield, NH.  He did the design of the Pakcanoe, and before that the Ally canoe (before immigrating to the US from Norway).  And, yes ... he does indeed know Tony (referring to a recent picture of him on the wall above his desk as we talked).
