Yes.  That is a bit of a concern.  I'm also concerned about how she will track over long stretches of water.  Clearly "correct" load placement will be a key element of trips with this canoe.  Thankfully, I already load using a "3-pack" system which means some flexibility in fore/aft load shifting. 

At least will have it in my boat fleet over the coming fall/spring so I can get some "training" with this type of craft.
