Hello QJ members.
I am entering the Q for the first time next week for a seven day solo tour. 
I have been lurking around this site for the past 4 months and have found the posts informative and entertaining.  Most of the questions I had regarding the park were answered in previous posts so I didn't have to pose any questions.  The questions I have I'll try to answer on my own specifically "where da fish at?"
I live in Midland ON, and fish georgian bay and surrounding lakes often from a powerboat.
I've done a few algonquin park routes and other trips of varying lengths in the past, but with a 17 month old.  I've been tied close to the house for the past 2 summers. 
Anyways, thanks again to all.  I will post pics and try to contribute when I return if I feel I have something useful to say.   :dankk2

Millhouse, do you have a depth finder? A rod holder? Do you intend to troll or do you like to cast? There can be much help provided but you need to provide some parameters.

I'll be entering at PP early Sunday and out Friday.  My son and I in a SR Q17 with a bwca.com flying moose decal.

Hi MT,
I do have rod holder and a fishfinder rig that I've built based on advise from the forum and a rod holder.  I hope to do a mix of trolling, casting and jigging- wind permitting.

Sorry I was not clear.  Somehow without knowing the display order changed and most recent is now at top rather than bottom so I had not read every post.

I hope your trip is great!

You as well Bill.  I have a lot of good memories of my father and camping, boating and fishing.  The weather looks good-at least the atikokan forecast.
