Title: Re: Fishing for Lakers in late September Post by mastertangler on Sep 10th, 2012 at 2:56am
Kerry we fished Algonquin in mid September about 5 years ago. It was a great trip as the colors were at their peak and the weather was very nice. However we did very poorly fishing even though we gave it a good effort. Perhaps it was where we fished............Tim lake up to Big Bob and went into the Petawa(?) river where we caught a few cuts. Other than that we struck out on Tim lake lakers. Not sure what we would do differently.
BTW..........the crows are quite sharp in obtaining any food, they even went into a stuff sack and drug out containers and popped holes. "Hey, look at all those crows..........they sure look excited about something" ;D |
