Like last year and as started again on   (You need to Login or Register, were planning a get together starting at 7:00 PM CST Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Paps Bar and Grill, 1904 S Elmhurst Rd, Mt Prospect, IL.

Sort of a hot stove league get together for canoe country afficionados.

It's a few miles north of the western edge of O'Hare.

I am planning on attending. A caoeing bud of mine that lives in Mt Prospect would like to attend as well.

It was a good time. There were about 20 people there for the event. We were away from most of the other people in the bar. Lots of discussion of routs past and future. I stayed out past my bed time. I must have talked too much because I was hoarse the next day.

Hope I can make the next gathering. (have to admit,though,almost anything after dark is starting to seem like "past my bedtime". What ever happened to not even going out before 10?) :-?

I'll try to let you know and maybe we should begin with a 5:30 early bird session.

Unfortunatley I'm too old to drink in the morning or we could do a wing-morning with breakfast and mimosas.
