A friend sent me this link. Thought the forum would have some interest. Some might particularly like that it can charge up your USB devices... :)

On the same subject: My brother was telling me about finding the "Swedish Torch Stove/Fire" on the internet. Check it out with an internet search :) :)

Good info IC.
I could see using this technique even in a fire ring and after the meal is cooked you have a nice hot bed of coals for the evening campfire. 8-)

Saw this from IC the other day and then 10 min later on a full page ad in the new Backpacker mag (2013 equipment edition). cool idea cept the plastic part seems close to the heat source. They do mention keeping the plastic part upwind.
