Having been one of the presenters listed by Marten, It was exciting enough.  I felt challenged in turning my presentation into something that the general public found palatable.  I'm sorry that Marten was disappointed.  I whittled it down, and ran through a few "dry runs" with non-canoeing laypeople, with this presentation as a result.  Upon their recommendations, I removed some of the details in order to conform to the time limits of Canoecopia.  The presenters are limited to 50 minutes, so there were several who asked me questions after the presentation.  Also, there are some details where you'll have to buy the book ;) 

I managed to sell my consignment of books, though, so I'm happy about that.
