I received this for my birthday it is a story of a canoe trip to the interior of Labrador in 1903. Once you start it you can't put it down. :)

I also found this book to be a great read. There are other books and manuscripts about later trips connected to the one in 1903. A lot can be found with an internet search.

I just finished reading the list of the resouses they did an excellent job of research.
