The "Believers" have a huge following for Musky on Lake St. Clair. I dislike second guessing myself so I will stick with taking a Bulldawg lure in. As for it wearing you out it is likely the cause is equipment. I can toss big stuff all day with ease. My Loomis Musky rod is light, light, light....... throw on a nice big Shimano baitcaster and it is no problemo (that's Spanish) to get fantastico (that's Italian) results.  8-) :D
