Title: Moores creatures

I admit i'm a little excited.........probably 20 years ago I read an article about this lure. I was impressed with the concept.........a gliding zero action bait with a twist........a small colorado blade trailing the lure.......almost like a small fish harrasing a large leech. The write up was quite favorable with the author also commenting on how the lure was not only effective for pressured musky but was also quite the pike lure. I have always been on the lookout for them looking in every tackle shop I went in until I figured they were no longer made. Well surprise, surprise.........

The lure, while not large by musky standards, is still a handful on typical walleye tackle. A bit beefier rod and a decent sized baitcaster will allow you to fish the lure without getting wore out. I'm thinking this should pop some good walleyes as well especially if one was brave enough to remove the leader. Reader beware; this lure Definitely looks like the type of bait that pike would enhale and thus deprive you of your $9. I'll bring a few spares. Crap, my once light selection of lures is inching ever upward.

One last thought.......the author of the article showed a strong bias toward the solid black with a nickel blade. Sounds about right to me.
