Okay, here is a novice question for all of you expert fishermen and women! out there. I've read a couple of posts, articles and resources stating that in-line trolling on deeper lakes (like Cirrus?) during the summer is a good thing. Good because the lake trout for example will seek deeper depths. Sounds reasonable. Some experts suggest that rappala deep taildancers are the way to go with an inline sinker (1-2 oz) to get down as much as 25ft. Others counsel to save your lure and go with a spoon (daredevil or hammered silver dr. spoon for ex.) and I'm assuming a sinker as well as the taildancers will just snag up. You should therefore save these for shoreline casts. What do you think --- and most importantly --- what do you do? ;)
