Your right about it being more a solo problem.
You want to be moving while letting out the 3-way rig. You let it out slowly and when you see it's not tangling, you can loosen the drag or put it in free wheel and palm it to the estimated depth you want. Hard to do both solo. I found that if I could get it out okay, I was good unless I stopped and then started paddling ( say for photo-op) then I had problems. |
