MT, how well does the DSI Imaging work from a canoe on your Lowrance Elite 4 DSI?  I see in the manual it says you need a speed of 2-8 mph for optimal imaging.

Cabela's has a good sale on these now, combined with a $20 off $150 coupon and $100 rebate it brings the price down to $140 plus tax. It also comes with a Lake Insight Pro GPS card ($99 Value).

I wonder if the DSI/GPS would be the way to go in a canoe or if the simpler Lowrance Elite-4X would be a better choice for lower power consumption.  With a $1 item added to my cart and the $20 coupon and rebate the Lowrance Elite-4X comes out to $80 plus tax.

Decisions...decisions.  Any thoughts?
