Maybe they got the decimal point wrong. The guy probably meant milli amps instead of amps? The guy sounded so convincing :P even naming the depth finders in question. Maybe I'm not reading it right........

The only thing that rings true is my beloved and wonderful finder is a juice hog. Anyway, I want to go for at least 2 weeks, maybe a month and have the thing on daylight to dark as I troll my way around the park. Thats all I ask.........

I had hoped not to have to bring an entourage to carry my stuff >> 2 guys with a long pole carrying the 12 volt batteries between them  ;D
