Thanks Gavia! I've been looking at 700 watt units to counter the humidity in MN during most of the year (not now obviously -- think the humidity in my basement is at about 40% per my dehumidifier :). I'm not in a hurry so I'll wait for a sale or similar deal for a used one. Thanks again for the response. I appreciate your and everyone's advice on this!
