What did you shoot the video on? Pretty good quality for a handheld. Vimeo is a nice platform. Do you prefer that to youtube?

Unfortunately, the video had to be degraded quite a bit to get it uploaded to Vimeo.  The original version is 1.5 GB and to upload free, I had to get it down below 500 MB.

The camera is a   (You need to Login or Register which can shoot video in HD 1080p (with stereo sound) ... which looks very nice on a large flat-screen TV.  While I didn't run the zoom out to the full extent in anything shown, it does have a manual (optical) zoom out to 30X (with optical anti-shake).  I did add another lens that pushes the zoom to 50X optical.  The camera is not particularly light at 1 lb, 11 oz, but for what it does ... its not a bad camera.   I've been using it for canoe trips for the past 2 seasons, so I'm sure the technology has improved a lot since then.  (I did give up taking a separate video camera with this choice, but I do sometimes take a smaller pocket model for quick pic's.)  I seem to remember picking this camera up for under $300.

Vimeo versus YouTube ... not a real choice ... just playing around with the different possibilities and Vimeo was easy to get started.
