I missed 7 years of trips. Partly with the economic meltdown and part me taking care of my mom the last years of her life.
As much as I missed the trips, I wouldn't give up that bittersweet time with my mother for all the trips in the world. Absence does make the heart grow fonder and going with a clear concience isn't bad either. ;) |
