I have a mini-multi-tool which has a screw driver tip and scissors plus some other parts I almost never use. It is mostly "just in case"...
I also carry one or two small, folding camp saws and a very small hatchet for making kindling.  Sometimes I carry a hand sized branch clippers...it works great for cutting "squaw wood" and saves on pokes and scratches if breaking twigs by hand.
