Title: Sark Lake Post by smashdancer on Jun 4th, 2014 at 9:28pm
Thinking of tripping to Sark but only if the fishing is good there. Any intel? What species? Productivity? How about campsites?

Sark has been one of my favorite lakes going back to my first trip nearly 30 years ago. We have caught all five game species in Sark. Walleye, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth. I would definitely keep Sark on your list, even if fishing wasn't a priority. For me it has always had a prehistoric look to it. On foggy mornings I half expect to see a brontosaurus emerge from the mist. :thumbup

Thank you; sounds fantastic. Did you get to it through Agnes or another route? Where's the best campsite?
