Geez......expensive set of maps for sure.

Ordered them July 11 and they arrive on the 30th the very day I left for Minneapolis. I had to choke on the overnight delivery price. Ouch! Better start learning to print my own I guess.

I will send up a smoke signal when I get back...3 puffs of smoke in a row means I popped a 50 incher.

The monster under the bed.......what if you look and its actually there? Part of me is thrilled by the prospect of a 50 inch fish in a little boat.....part of me is a bit wild eyed at the whole concept. I certainly have done my homework....done the requisite research and acquired the recommended outfits and lures. Being attached to a big fish with 100 lb power pro means quite a bit of physics involved.......the line is not breaking, even if I want it to. I guess I will worry about catching the thing later. First I have to hook one......big unfamiliar body of water pursuing a fish that I don't know very well. If all works as planned I should have at least a week to beat the water to a froth......maybe a few day trips to other bodies of water since I have an insatiable desire to see what's over the next hill.
