Yes Kerry I have already emailed Harlan.......GPS, nay, just something else to carry. Once in a great while I get overconfident and have to backtrack and once on the big lake across from Argo I became stumped and had to break out a compass. I have the Garmin base camp.......I hadn't much thought of printing the maps myself. Waterproof paper? Where do you get it?

Speaking of GPS I picked up a garmin Montana a few years back and added a very cool soft sided case that came complete with a Ram mount. The Montana has a nice big screen and is touch screen operated. I picked it up in anticipation of an epic Everglades trip which has some very tricky navigational challenges indeed. But alas, reality has a way of dashing the best laid plans (I was even packed)........maybe this winter.
