Jim j solo has it exactly right. Mountain house blueberry granola with milk is one of my all time favorites. Good calorie count, keeps you going. In my backpacking days this was my staple for lunch, everyday. Add plenty of water to help keep you hydrated this meal is the bomb. If you get the pre packaged foil pouches use a longer spoon to get to the bottom.......I like being near water so you can rinse out the foil package.......then I liked using teeny tiny cable ties to keep the pouch folded tightly and in a zip lock bag......have to be mindful of odors and uninvited guests. If I had to do it over again........I would purchase the #10 tins and transfer the contents into the nalgene wide mouth water canteens which make the ultimate food storage containers (3 different sizes- the large size holds 14 days worth of 1 cup of oats per day in a tough easy to store and use container).
