Not yet; I've only been home a week or so. The transducer mounts to a bracket - via a little nut & bolt - that holds the suction cup. My plan would be to replace that bracket with the float. I'm thinking a square of wood with a bit of foam glued to the back. I don't think it'd have to be very big, maybe 3" square. It'll take some testing in the pond to make sure that it floats ok. And now that I'm thinking about it, maybe a canoe shape would be best to track better (so it's not rolling around) while trolling… haven't gotten that far ahead yet.

I'll post pics when I make a prototype.  :)
