Can you describe what you saw?

Mine (and other's I've borrowed) will sometimes just show me gibberish for a while. I know it's happened repeatedly on certain lakes. One year I saw like an algae cloud or something near the surface so I imagine the same thing only a little deeper is what causes what I'm talking about. A hundred yards later all is normal again.
