great minds think alike?

mines a variation, but basically the same. i have a camouflage baseball hat with LED lights built into the brim with a really neat toggle switch on the bill and an extra on/off switch by the battery (so you dont accidentally turn it on during the day and drain the battery). i sewed 4 buttons onto it, 2 near where the bill attaches, and one on each side of back adjustable strap things.

i then sewed 2 pieces out of camouflage fabric, one is just a rectangle about 4 inches wide that uses the 2 back buttons for a neck cape. the other piece looks like a bikini top that covers both ears and wraps around behind my neck also. the buttons make for an easy on/off and i find the lights in the brim of hat to be irreplaceable. when daylight starts fading, simply turn the switch on the battery to 'on' and then its a one handed squeeze on the bill to illuminate.

i havent found a manufactured hat with both the lights in the bill and neck/ear coverings yet. at least not for the combined $15 i spent on my hat/materials. at least not with lightweight materials, there are some with heavy fleece
