I love the strong nearly non-stretching cord that ST recommends (and use it as the rope my pulley hangs from). However, when new and clean it is perhaps the most tangle prone cord invented by man short of monofilament. when the cord is new and the bugs are out......

;D ;D ;D I found that out on my spring trip. The more I used it, the better "hand" it developed though, so it's still great stuff.
I found that wrapping it around something ( 1/2" pvc pipe etc) then walking it out full length and rewind a few times seemed to make it less tangle prone.

I bought some of the reflective cord for use on my Dry-Fly. All in all a good item. :thumbup

MP, is right. Either use something to wrap it around or wear a pair of leather gloves. That thin cord will hurt you IF you let it. :'(
