;D Dude! Math is what makes the world go 'round! Ahhh, my favorite topic. 30 yrs ago I bought 3 single sailing pulleys at the over-priced sailing shop downtown for $7 a pop and some rope that looked about right from Menard's. It has served me well as I'm still using the same set-up except for the throw bag that takes a beating. Cast pulleys might even be OK for all I know. I do know that pulleys are made for the size of rope they will be used with. My rope may be oversized but it's easy to grab and doesn't get caught (lodge) into the trees plus it's strong enough to get my snowblower up and down from the garage loft twice a year. Math is cool! |
