I agree MP....and appreciate your and everyone else advice on these things. I have one Harken 20mm micro block already for about 8 bucks (probably could have found it cheaper but it was the best deal I could find at the moment). I think it's about a 1/2oz in weight versus the hardware store pulleys that are about 3.5 to 4 oz. It all adds up! Looking for others now. Either Harken or Ronstan. I might start a new thread on just "lightweight" gear because I've found gerber axes to silynyon tarps that have dropped 10s of pounds off of my portage pack....and I'm still looking   :D
