Title: Re: Minnesota Trailer Law Post by solotripper on Sep 11th, 2014 at 9:58pm Westwood wrote on Sep 11th, 2014 at 8:48pm:
I see Ontario is looking to pass a stand-alone invasive species act. I get why and how important it is, living in a Great Lake state as I do. Problem like the ongoing debate about the Asian Carp which is going to get into the Great Lakes sooner rather than later the way things are going, is that unless the law becomes a national law, MN can do what it will, but it's state waters are connected to a greater system and if the other system members don't do the same thing, it will do little in the long run. You can see from the Asian Carp argument here in the states, that what would appear to be a common sense argument that all would agree on, is anything but. |
