WIF, I feel so much better too...I have done most of those verboten things also, always feeling like I was the only one  :-X
Additionally:
-Have had a fire on fire ban days.
-Camped on undesignated sites in BWCA.
-Feed the eagles (& seagulls) the fish carcass and sometimes left-over food.
-I am still a dry-footer.

I no longer put any food in the lake, especially at campsites.  This is why:
My dad once hiked down into the grand canyon with a Sierra Club group.  They were all happy to see a "pristine" crystal clear spring for drinking water at the bottom. Most eagerly filled their drinking bottles without a thought.  My dad ruined their day when his turn came...he swirled the water to reveal rice, etc. hidden under the top light layer of clean sand.  ::)
