whoa.......couldn't wait and had to pull the trigger on the savage gear tackle. I was surprised at how much in demand the crab imitations are and several of my choices are either sold out or back ordered. Imitation blue crab > who knew? I have never fished crabs before but every fish you cut open seems to be full of the dang things so why not?

When I did my circumnavigation of Irregular lake in Woodland caribou I caught a decent pike of about 34" which I filleted (I don't mess with pike smaller than that) and lo and behold its stomach had nothing but crawfish in it. Everything eats them.....I bet lakers eat them to but I have never checked, I'll have to do that sometime.

Tackle warehouse, good outfit, free shipping even on the back ordered stuff. Now I have to do more than look at the stuff and actually make time to go!!! 1st week in December looks good so I will give the stuff a whirl and report back.
