The kevlar keel guards had started pulling away from the canoe. It wouldn't of been an issue paddling wise, but since I'm paddling "backasswards" solo, the bow guard had become a "drag foil" so the tape fixed that problem. The tape showed some wear and tear, but was functionally intact.
Decided to do both front and rear just to see how the tape held up. Now that I know, I added some of it to my repair kit.
