Organization? Im a big proponent......"chaos leads to increasing chaos" is one of my favorite sayings but I digress.

I'm always looking for ways to streamline and establish order with my camping and tripping stuff so these caught my eye.

Rather similar to the delee gadgets found in the Piragis catalog but these come in longer lengths. Might be useful for all sorts of applications.

I still like the old BDBs:

I bought a dozen of these years ago and they're still going strong.

With some 1/8 in. shock cord @$.25 a foot or so, a few cord locks (easily 4 for $3.00) and a simple overhand knot, I make plenty of my own any size I like 'em.  Maybe not as fancy or colorful as either of these, but they work just as well.  That and I don't mind giving a few away on the trail if I find someone in need, at that price.

rubber coated wires that are grippy and hold things steady. they make quick work of fastening the paddles to the canoe on portages.

i like the blaze orange ones most as if you drop them they are easy to locate.

Yes Jax these are quite helpful. I had looked at them for a couple of years and was having some difficulty envisioning a precise use.......as in "exactly what would I use these for?"

I think it was Zski who pushed me over the edge commenting on how he really liked them.

So I picked up an assortment. I used one of the smaller lengths to secure my batteries for my depth finder securely in the 8 battery radio shack holder (hat tip KF).

Then I used the larger size as a quick and convenient safeguard for my loose rod and reel. Twist around a thwart and then a quick loop around the extra outfit to safeguard it.

But one of the niftiest uses was making "hooks" to hang stuff on. I bring a collapsible shock corded pole for my tarp (REI-$30) and I ended up using a few ties to to make hooks on the pole. Worked very nicely........I hung my bear spray and my sunglasses/clothes at night. And best of all it was fast and easy...........

It was one of those items you just get and bring and suddenly the uses present themselves during the course of the day. :thumbup
