life.....rather time consuming  ;)

I admit it, I spend lots more time thinking and getting ready to go fishing than actually getting to go.

Enter in Action Disc.......looked sort of neat so into one of my forays into Bass Pro I decided to give them a go. Dunked the thing into my "test canal" at the front of my house but was left less than impressed and the discs occupied some space along with all the other well intentioned gets.

A year or so later an email pops in and looks like the disc has some potential after all.......I was rigging it wrong. Note the egg sinker in front of the bait. I like that it is free sliding, nothing quite like that "one thing chasing another" to prompt Mr Big to crash the party.

I know the Bass will jump on it but might it the be the Walleye killer for neutral or even negative fish? Perhaps. To get this action shown in the vid I am envisioning quite a bit of wrist and a variety of reel speeds........Bites might be tough to sense with mono, anything a bit different and set up quick. Braid probably would be an advantage? Floro leader maybe for a jigging off the bottom type retrieve?
